It was a long time that I had not been to MAHAK's playrooms and I had missed them so much. I decided to go there and spend some time with the children. When I entered the place I was surprised because there was only one child in the room, a boy wearing a mask. I asked for the reason; "The other children are resting because they have received chemotherapy" replied a psychologist who was playing with the boy.

When I received my result and I passed all lessons with good marks, my mom promised to take me to a trip. I was so happy when I heard that. But same as always that all mothers make a mountain out of a molehill, my mom is no exception and she told that “before traveling to the North you should be examined by an optician because I feel that your right eye has problem and I will take you to a trip afterward”.

That Man Came; That Man Came Alone.

 
There is a young man who keeps dreaming about rural farmland in Hamedan on the fourth floor of MAHAK hospital. This fifteen-year old man got sarcoma cancer a year and a half ago. Lonely and peaceful, he left his hometown, got on the bus, and came to MAHAK all by himself.

Fourteen-year-old Fatemeh was diagnosed with brain tumor a few years ago.  Being under MAHAK support since August 2011, she presented  us  a beautiful painting of hers as a demonstration of her empathy for play rooms in MAHAK which function beyond ethics and language differences.
